New strip bag configuration enhances organization

We’ve recently improved how your aligners are organized in each Aligner Kit with new internal compartments and tray packaging.

We’re pleased to share that all ProMonitoring Aligner Kits will now include our newly improved aligner packing configuration. This new method of packing your patients’ Aligner Kits offers several key improvements to the Aligner Kit with minimal change.

Here’s what’s new…

More aligner storage space

We’ve removed the aligner step dividers from ProMonitoring Aligner Kits and replaced them with two large compartments. Though we loved the colorful and organized look of the dividers, they also limited the number of aligners we were able to pack in each Aligner Kit. This new configuration allows us to pack several more aligner stages into each Aligner Kit while reducing cardboard waste.

Additional instructions for patients

Removing the aligner step dividers opened up a lot of vertical space in the Aligner Kit. Depending on the number of steps in a patients’ treatment, your patient may also see a small insert that reminds them how to download the ProMonitoring app. This insert will be included in most Aligner Kits. Some treatment plans that require a larger number of aligner stages will not include this insert.

Strip bags allow for more flexibility

In the previous Aligner Kit configuration, your patients’ aligners were packed in individual bags placed between dividers. Since we’ve removed the dividers, we have decided to improve aligner bags to prevent misplacement and loss. Your patients’ aligner steps will now be packaged in perforated strips of bags that can be easily detached when needed. These perforated strips of bags are easier to keep track of, and further reduce packaging waste.

Don’t forget: Save the last 2-3 aligner steps

Make sure to have your patients save a few of their previous aligner steps after advancing to their next stage of treatment. Aligners can get lost, broken, or misshapen under certain circumstances. If your patient needs a replacement aligner, they will need a previous aligner step to hold their dentition in place until we can manufacture and send a replacement.
